I had my ticket ready with my friends, excited for the concert we were about to see. It was our favourite music artist. Childish Gambino. We have listened to every song he ever made: Debuts, albums, even unreleased songs. Listening to his songs feels like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. It’s magical. As we were getting closer and closer to the front doors for our tickets to be scanned, adrenaline started kicking in. I was so nervous and I can’t understand why. I’ve waited years for this moment. To see my favourite artist perform in person, see the crowd, hear his voice in person. This was all a dream come true. We got to the front and the tall, muscular, bald bodyguard looked at us and scanned our tickets. The minute I stepped inside the building I knew my dream becoming reality was just at arm's length. We wasted no time and went straight into the stadium and sat in our seats. After about 30 minutes or so, the stadium starts packing up with the crowd. I honestly didn’t really expect so many people to be here. After a while, the concert started and right away fans were roaring like hungry lions and tigers. The stage was huge. The huge round sun-like lights placed on top of the stage were moving in all directions. The music was as loud as a fire truck pacing by. Just how I imagined this concert to be like. I closed my eyes and listened to the crowd singing alongside the singer. After the last song was played, the crowd started screaming “Heartbeat!” “Heartbeat!” The crowd started chanting the song name over and over again, not giving up until he agreed to play the song.
